sessions are for beginners, learning the Pilates method as
well as advanced clients wanting more challenge. Private sessions
allow the instructor to individually tailor the work for each
persons own unique physical needs in regards to strength training,
flexibility and specificity of exercises chosen.

A
private session designed to assess each client’s individual
needs in regards to strength, flexibility, posture and alignment
of the body. Emphasis will be placed on the client understanding
the fundamentals of the Pilates method, including proper breathing,
correct muscle recruitment, and proper alignment of the body.

One
hour semi-private sessions consist of two clients, each working
on their own program, with less individual attention. The
instructor will continually offer visual corrections while
maintaining the flow of each client’s session. Semi-privates
are designed for clients familiar with the Pilates method
and who require less one-to-one instruction.
One

It is
highly recommended that all new clients to the Pilates method
complete a minimum of five private sessions before attending
a semi-private. This will give the client the proper base knowledge
to complete the exercises with less one on one support while
executing accurate technique. |
